Hydraulic Anchor Drilling Rig Construction Process

Drilling Operation: If drilling is deep and requires more than one pass, two types of drill rods should be used according to the process procedure. First, use the initial drill rod to drill the initial hole, and then use the completed drill rod for deep hole drilling.
1. No-load Test
Start the pump station motor: With all operating handles on the main unit in the non-operating position, the pressure gauge on the pump station should indicate a pressure no greater than 2 MPa, the oil temperature in the oil tank should be above 200°C, and the oil level should be in the upper-middle part of the oil level indicator.
Outrigger No-load Run: Slowly turn the outrigger control handle to the raised position; each stage of the outrigger cylinders should extend smoothly. Turn it to the lowered position; each stage of the cylinders should retract smoothly.
Motor No-load Run: Depress the rotary motor control trigger; the drilling rig spindle should exhibit controlled rotation from slow to fast. Simultaneously, rotate the outrigger control handle; the combined actions of the two should not interfere with each other and should operate flexibly.
2. Hole Positioning: After a normal no-load test, insert the hexagonal drill rod into the hexagonal hole of the drill rod connector. Slowly press down the motor control trigger to allow the drill rod to rotate slowly (or skip this step and let the drill rod initially press against the top plate). Rotate the feed mechanism control handle to a small angle, allowing the outriggers to slowly rise until the drill bit contacts the top plate. Press down the motor trigger and drill approximately 20mm to complete the hole opening.
3. Drilling: After the hole position is determined, open the water valve. The rotary motor will rotate at full speed. Adjust the angle of the feed mechanism control handle according to the rock hardness to achieve optimal coordination between the feed speed and rotary torque for efficient drilling.
4. Drill Rod Connection: After the first drill rod is connected, close the water valve. With the drill rod rotating, rotate the feed mechanism control handle in the opposite direction. The outriggers will retract, pulling the drill rod out of the hole. Insert the completed drill rod into the hole to continue drilling.
5. Flushing the Hole: After drilling to the specified depth, while maintaining drill rod rotation and uninterrupted water supply, slowly lower the outriggers to flush away residual rock powder in the hole.
6. Water Supply: The flushing water pressure during drilling should be between 0.6 and 1.2 MPa, and the water quality should be free of sediment.
Installing Anchor Bolts:
1. After drilling is complete, remove the drill rod and insert the anchoring device into the drill rod joint.
2. Screw the lock nut onto the anchor bolt to be installed and insert it into the anchoring device. Place the resin cartridge into the hole. Use the anchor bolting machine to push the resin cartridge and anchor bolt to the bottom of the hole. Immediately rotate the anchor bolting machine rapidly for several seconds until the rotational resistance increases, then stop rotating. Maintain a certain thrust until the resin cartridge has firmly solidified before lowering the anchor bolting machine.
3. Remove the nut screwed onto the anchor bolting machine, place the washer in, retighten the nut, and finally pre-tighten it with the anchor bolting machine.
