Main Motor Heating Equipment for Engineering Drilling Rigs: When the main motor heater of the top drive unit is powered normally and the main motor is not running, the heater can be started and stopped via the [Motor Heating] switch on the PLC/MCC cabinet door. The heater's operating status is indicated by the heater indicator light on the PLC/MCC cabinet. When the PLC system is normal, the heater and the main motor are interlocked. If the main motor is started while the heater is running, the heater will automatically stop. The heater cannot be started while the main motor is running.

Main Motor Cooling Fan for Engineering Drilling Rigs: The cooling fan of the top drive unit is mounted on the top of the main motor. Turning the [Fan] switch on the driller's control panel to the "On" position will directly start the main motor fan. Turning the [Fan] switch to the "Off" position will stop the main motor fan and the drive cabinet fan. However, when the main motor is running, the fan will not stop regardless of the [Fan] switch position. Turning the [Fan] switch to the "Automatic" position will automatically start the main motor fan when the top drive system starts; when the top drive system stops, the fan will automatically stop after a delay.
