Introduction to Pneumatic Anchor Drilling Rig
Apr 13, 2026
Pneumatic rock bolt drilling rigs are coal mine roadway support equipment powered by compressed air. They are primarily used for drilling and installing rock bolts and anchor cables in rock roadways, coal roadways, and semi-coal roadways with a roof hardness ≤ F10. Major production areas are concentrated in Jining, Shandong; Wuxi, Jiangsu; and Shijiazhuang, Hebei. This equipment integrates drilling, mixing, and installation functions, equipped with a gear-type pneumatic motor and fiberglass air legs. It features small size, light weight, and high torque, covering both roof and coal face support needs.
Based on application scenarios, it is divided into three main series: MQT, ZQS, and MQS. The MQT series is suitable for rock bolt and anchor cable hole construction with a roof hardness ≤ F10; the ZQS series focuses on coal face anchoring and is suitable for conditions with a hardness ≤ F8; the MQS series adopts a handheld design and is suitable for coal face operations with a hardness ≤ F6. The core models improve the efficiency of outrigger lifting through a dual exhaust system, are equipped with a sound-dampening structure to reduce operating noise, and some models can complete the installation and pre-tightening of rock bolt nuts in one operation. The equipment needs to be used with B19/22 hexagonal drill pipes, and the working pressure is mostly 0.4-0.63MPa. It has obtained safety certification for mining products and meets explosion-proof standards.
